About Youth Venture

Youth Venture is an international, community-based program that assists teens in learning Biblical principles for a successful future.

Founded by Foothills Christian Church, Youth Venture operates four after-school teen centers that offer a safe space for students between 5th and 12th grade. The teen centers are the primary setting where students can connect, establish, and build significant relationships with their peers and adults as well as enjoy admission-free and drug-free activities and attractions like a skate park, video games, pool tables, ping pong, and Youth Venture-related events and outings.

Through these relational activities, Youth Venture seeks to develop peer groups for teens that are moral, goal-oriented, and conducive to a successful future.

Internationally, Youth Venture reaches the next generation throughout Kenya and Uganda with Biblically-based school clubs and after-school programs.

According to a survey of California teens, 3 in 10 are left unsupervised three or more days per week. Unsupervised teens are more likely to get into trouble than supervised. During the school week, the hours between 2pm and 6pm are the prime time for juvenile crime. Youth Venture helps these odds by increasing supervision for these teens.
